Erin recognized her love for interiors at a young age. Her appreciation for antiques and fine fabrics led her to pursue a degree in design. After graduating from the LSU School of Interior Design, Erin began her career as a full-time designer in Baton Rouge. She began Erin Mixson Interiors in 2011.
Erin’s design philosophy is a collected and layered interior. Her classic style is a combination of arts and antiques laced with current, contemporary pieces. She believes in the timeless tradition of function meeting style. Erin’s eye for detail allows her to create designs that are both fresh and unique.
Erin aims to help clients define their own style by intermingling their personal collections with her curated selections. Her design goal is to evoke a specific mood within a space, through which the client can really connect. Stemming from being a mom to three boys, Erin creates interiors that are both elegant and durable. Therefore, she is constantly reflecting on a creative approach to simplify the constraints of daily life.
“Antiques for the modern world” are the words we live by at Fireside Antiques. We celebrate the craftsmanship of woodworkers, gilders, and artists of previous centuries, while embracing modern comfort and style. Our love for European antiques began in the early 80’s and has never left us. We travel the countryside of France and England and have loved cultivating strong relationships over the 35+ years in the business with our European friends.
We are proud to offer the best of European antiques, exclusive reproduction furniture and lighting, and a wide variety of home decor and accessories. All are available in a range of prices and styles that are appropriate for both the everyday home and the finest of environments.
I’m Anna Napier, owner and lead organizer of In Line Organizing. I started this business as a way to do something I enjoy while helping others find the ease of daily routines inside their homes and offices.
I love an organized space, but I don’t ever expect anyone’s home to be spick-and-span 24/7, mine included. After all, we do live there. To me, organization does not mean having a spotless space; rather, it is knowing that a mess is okay because it is temporary, and when it is time to clean up, everything has a home.
I am not a minimalist by nature, but I admire those who are and really (really really) hope I wake up one day and stop forming emotional attachments to everything I own. Until then, rest assured I’m not the organizer who will show up at your home pressuring you to throw out all of your things.
